Castagnola 32 DP

The innovation within tradition that is the shipyard’s philosophy is also apparent in the Castagnola 32 DP model, an all-wood 32-metre motor yacht with a V-shaped planing hull that features, to cite only a few characteristics, a laminated iroko keel, solid mahogany fin and stringers, and European ash frames. All the exterior parts of the ship are treated with specific products that ensure watertightness and longer durability. The Castagnola 32 DP is classified in the RINA Maltese Cross Class and can be completely customized.

The onboard spaces are immense and take shape through lines carefully drawn for a classic taste but at the same time look to the future. The flybridge is a veritable terrace on the sea where everything has been designed to offer the maximum comfort. In addition to the helm station it also provides sun cushions, sofas and a centrally positioned table to create a splendid open-air dinette.   Descending from the flybridge to the main deck we find the interior helm station, an inviting area where besides steering one can spend time relaxing. All the instrumentation is positioned according to a philosophy that strives for maximum ergonomics on the dashboard, which boasts an innovative design.

The placement of the helm console affords excellent visibility and allows comfortable, safe, relaxed steering.   On the main deck and the lower deck are the areas dedicated completely to the owner and his guests. The interiors make massive use of fine woods and the classic taste of walnut prevails in warm, inviting tones. The entire width of the main deck is given over to the salon, to which is annexed the dining room, the service bathroom, a large, functional galley that extends along the side and the owner’s cabin, which is more an apartment with a private entrance. The owner’s bathroom is equally elegant.

Descending to the lower deck gives access to the guest accommodation area, which consists in four double cabins, giving a total of 10 berths on the entire boat plus another five dedicated to the crew, located in the bow and stern. The whole boat features a balanced mix of tradition and technological innovation. The onboard equipment is of top quality, as are the installed systems, choices that represent the best the market can offer.   Boasting excellent performances, the Castagnola 32 DP sails at a top speed of 30 knots in great silence.
